But destination beauty comes with its own set of logistics, and we want you to be prepared.</p><h2>Book Early</h2><p>Destination weddings require more lead time than local weddings. We need to coordinate travel, accommodations, and scheduling well in advance. If you're planning a destination wedding, reach out to us as early as possible — ideally 12–18 months before your date. Popular destinations and peak season dates fill quickly.</p><h2>The Travel Fee</h2><p>Our local artist travel begins at $35 per artist. For destination weddings, travel is quoted individually based on location, number of artists, and the length of the engagement. We'll provide a full custom quote when you inquire. Travel fees cover transportation, accommodations, and the time our artists spend away from home to be there for you.</p><h2>Climate Considerations</h2><p>Tropical destinations mean heat, humidity, and often direct sun. We adjust our product selections accordingly — using longer-wearing formulas, setting techniques designed for high humidity, and finishes that photograph beautifully in bright outdoor light. If you're getting married somewhere with extreme weather conditions, let us know so we can plan accordingly.</p><h2>What to Pack</h2><p>For destination weddings, we recommend packing a small touch-up kit for after the ceremony: blotting papers, your lip color, a small powder, and a travel-size setting spray. Your artist will set your makeup for longevity, but a quick touch-up before portraits never hurts.</p><h2>The Booking Process</h2><p>The process is the same as a local wedding: a signed contract and your 50% retainer secure your date. We do not hold dates for anyone, regardless of destination. Once both are received, your team is officially yours — wherever in the world you're saying I do.</p>
